I'm having a similar problem as Quantum Productions, trying to bulk dump
from my Roland MKS-50 to SoundDiver.
* The MKS is set up on Unitor In/Out Port 7, MIDI Ch3
* Unitor8 Control – both patch and computer mode have SysEx and
Active Sensing not filtered
* MIDI notes are correctly received by the MKS from CubaseSX3 and
* SysEx from PG-300 is passing correctly to the MKS
* Cubase closed before trying the dump process
* One-way dump is being manually triggered from the MKS front panel
* SoundDiver is receiving the dump
* confirmed by the MIDI Monitor, which shows full dump stream
* On opening, the device window is empty – no dumped data has
populated the device window at all
* Dump is not working when the device window is open
* confirmed by the MIDI Monitor, which only shows a SysEx start and
end message received
* Tried using handshake mode dump from MKS, which also didn't work
* alphajuno-mks50 Yahoo! Group message says use One-way, which is
confirmed by the MIDI Monitor result
* http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/alphajuno-mks50/message/562
* I've tried setting the MKS MIDI options so that Tone, Patch and CM
are all set to TX...APR= ON
* Initiating Bulk*Dump [T-a] manually from the front panel results in
the following:-
* the dump completes with the correct 'Bulk Dump ..End." message
on
the MKS
* the MIDI Monitor records 16 pages of data on the first run, none
of which arrives in the device window
* further attempts result in no data being sent and the MKS returning
to P:A11 almost immediately - no SysEx data is seen in the MIDI Monitor
at all, not even start/end SysEx
I'm stumped! Can anyone help? Are any MKS-50 users here who are
successfully dumping to SoundDiver who could kindly pass on their
settings?
Many thanks!

AFAIR (I had'nt use SD for a long time), it works in Classic mode
(needs to have OMS installed) but the original CD is regularly
required (some weeks) to validate the soft, and I don't remember to
have any use the serial number :-(

I can confirm that. SD asks for the original CD every few weeks - there's no
serial number stuff.

hello all,
I'm finally upgradying to Tiger. On Panther, my SD beta has been
running very smooth.
So I was wondering if anyone has had problems since upgrading to tiger or
whether it's
safe to do so.
thanks,
Nima

I've been using SD PB2 with Tiger for quite some time now and no
issues. I say go for it. :)

Tiger runs fine with SD beta2. Been awhile since Ive even bothered to
fire it up though..
Id be more worried about SD screwing up my synths than the OS haha.

Hi,
I'm new to this forum. I would like to ask if someone has tried to use
SD with the TC G-Force? I saw an older message but there is no answer
to it.

Hello everyone,
Hey, I'm new here and learning... :)
I was hoping someone could help me. I bought an used Roland XP-30
months ago. The person who sold me was the original owner and had the
SoundDiver original CD, but it seems he had a cat home or was simply
careless: the CD is entirely scratched. I was never able to read
anything from it... I was checking and nobody seems to care (Roland or
Apple). Help me on purchasing a copy???
Or maybe... Suggesting me something else I could use? I heard there
are not many software options on the market anyway...
HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPP please !!! :)

Anyone know if I can buy a licence anywhere ?

You need to get a used copy: the original CD _and_ the printed Users
Manual. That's your license, for links to the updates go to:
http://Stromeko.Synth.net/Downloads.html#EmagicFTP
If anyone happens to have the direct links to the SoundDiver OEM updates
for various machines, please post them here and I'll include them as
well.

The SD 3.0 CD is for both Mac & Windows, so that's a non-issue.

Hi there,
has there been any word on if there will be a port of SoundDiver
to the new Intel OSX?
Or should we start lobbying various software companies now, to get
something?!
