I recently parchase a second hand Proteus-2000 an a Virtusoso-2000. Both with sounddiver when reading multis hung-up and I must kill the sounddiver. Reading from modules "current multi", the module send to sounddiver something but sounddiver ignore it. On Proteus adaptation I can edit the "user presets" but if try to edit"componer preset" the "instrument Rom" show an unselected combo-box and the "instrument" are showed as "unknown". On Virtuoso adaptation I cannot edit "user preset" nor "Orchestral presets" The sounddiver is on a PC an the version is the 3.0.5 I can't beleave anybody do so bad.... Jaime

Does anyone know what the final version of Sounddiver was for the PC and where the update might be located for download? I managed to find 3.0.5.2, though I'm not sure if that's the latest. I'm rebuilding my system after a hard drive crash and have the original media, but none of the updates.

I don't understand my problem. I'm on a Powerbook G4 1ghz, 1.25ram, 80HD. I tried to install the AMT8 midi Drivers, but when I' supposed to select destination, it shows a Red Exclamation mark and says "You cannot install this software on this volume. (null)". I have 65gb of space free. I only have 1 Hard Drive. What am I supposed to do? Is there something wrong with my HD? It seems fine to me and I have never had a problem. Nick

What are permissions? I'm on OS X 10.3.9. I plug in my Yamaha RS7000 and I see one input light up, but when I plug in my FS1R, nothing happens. I'm trying to use a new software editor for the FS1R right now, and it doesn't seem to find my AMT8. So you're saying OS X already emagic drivers built into this OS? I also tried the beta version of Sounddiver and it couldn't locate my FS1R, even though it was all midied up correctly I believe (ins and outs). Then that led me to believe I didn't have the drivers, since neither program can find the FS1R. --- In sounddiver-users@yahoogroups.com, Chris Coccia <mothra@d...> wrote: > > ridszero wrote: > > I don't understand my problem. Doesnt seem to be any reason for Emagic/Apple to recently release an update if this were the case. Hmm, the RS7000 input light shows up, but not the midi out light. The FS1R doesn't show up at all. The FS1R editor says their is a Midi Recieve Error. Where is the Audio Midi setup located? How do I know if Sounddiver sees the AMT8? I repaired the Disk Permissions, but it didn't work. Someone told me to rebuild my volume using a program like Disk Warrior, but I would have to go pay $80 to get it. --- In sounddiver-users@yahoogroups.com, Chris Coccia <mothra@d...> wrote: > > ridszero wrote: > > What are permissions? Hi everyone. I need help with some issues i have with Xv-5050. Before this module i had a Jv 1010 connected with 2 keyboards. The procedure i used to cahnge pathces was as follows. I set the first keyboard to ch1 The second Keyboards to channel 2 Swich to Performance mode. Swith with the knob to patch category user. Switch to cahnnel 1 (on JV). Choose patch 001 Switch to channel 2 (on JV), Choose patch 002 This always worked, plus i used a Behringer FCb 1010 for the keyboards on ch 1 to be able to change faster the patches.... Then i bought XV and everything got me so confused.....When turning to Performance mode i cannot find the patches i need (as in JV were the same by switchiing instrument category) and i don't know how to control ot from 2 different keyboards. To be more clear..Suppose i have patch Violin in Userbank patch 001(performance mode) and Piano on 002 i want to play patch 001 from the first keyboard and 002 from the second..... Also i need info on how i can copy some sounds i need from the JV to XV. Please help me out cause i'm getting a headache. Ps: Please keep it as simple as you can, my knowledge on programming this module is little Thank you in advance
