nord modular isnt supported in SD. At first i was a bit peeved about this, as i wanted to save my patches in one large library. But as i've had to change how i backup/save patches from my xt, virus, i really dont mind the lack of nord mod support. Their own editor is great - and i just keep the patches separate. I don't think its lack of emagic support - i believe emagic said that it was a clavia issue that kept them from supporting it.. Please correct me if im wrong anyone! -evan --- In sounddiver-users@y..., "Lunar Sound Design" <laboratory@l...> wrote: > Anyone here using these together??? It is very important and it only takes a few minutes of your time...and in those few minutes of your precious time you could be helping to save a womans life... Last Friday, the Oprah show covered a story of a Nigerian woman, Amina Lawal, who has been sentenced to death by stoning because she had a baby out of wedlock. She has tried to appeal the decision but has been unsuccessful, thusfar. The head of Nigeria disagrees with these stonings but has so far done nothing--partly because of the fear of not being re-elected. I should also note that the father of the baby denied fathering the child and, hence, has escaped any form of punishment. Amina Lawal's stoning will occur as soon as she is finished nursing her child. She will be buried up to her neck in dirt and townsmen will throw stones at her head until they kill her--which has been known to take hours. I send out a plea to all the women receiving this e-mail and to all the men raised by women to join me and many others to help prevent this horrific and inhumane event from occuring. Please take a moment and go to the Oprah website: www.oprah.com On the right side of the screen there is a small yellow highlighted area that says: "A young mother sentenced to die...your signature could help save the life of Amina Lawal. Act now." Click on the *act now* link and it will take you to a pre-written letter addressed to the Nigerian Ambassador. Just fill out your information on the bottom of the page and send it. It's as simple as that. You can even go one step further and ~PLEASE~ forward this e-mail to everyone in your e-mail address book so they can be part of the mission to save Amina Lawal. This is NOT a hoax, its been all over the news lately. We can claim ignorance when doing nothing to stop vicious atrocities that we know nothing about from occuring but there is no justification if we standby and allow for these events to take place when we are fully aware of them. >you guys sound like old ladys with your "update >weining"... soundiver 3.0.4 rocks! (if you manage to >use all of it:) It's hardly whining. I've actually been using SoundDiver since version 1.x and I'm VERY happy with it (when it works). But now, I'll really whine: Since I upgraded my Mac, I have to re-launch SD at least 4 or 5 times before it works properly. Here's what happens: I launch Logic (v5.3 Platinum) I launch SD and it tells me <No Unitor 8's found> , but I have 3 of them. Or, it tells me that none of my synths could be found. If I hit abort, then my master keyboard doesn't work anymore, in Logic or SD. So I quit SD, press <Full Panic> in Logic, and this sometimes gets MIDI data through from my keyboard. After 4 or 5 tries, and switching all 3 Unitors off and on again, everything works. And I'm STILL waiting for the modules that are sitting in Emagic's offices, that they won't upload to their website, that have ready for months. Enjoy 3.0.4 It may be around for some time still........ Given up being frustrated Just plain pissed off!! Colin

Message #13124
Hi, I just install the adaptation for marshall JMP-1, it seems there is a problem to find the editor, no problems with pod pro bass and guitar... and others. could someone confirm JMP-1 works with soundiver ? thanks...Phil MTP AV and MTP II/mac 9,1

This is a fundamental feature of SD that doesn't work and it means SD is really annoying to work with! Henrik Jensen PS. Colin, I've got $10 that says next SD update happens AFTER may '03! I dare you!
