It's not really editing of performances that is my problem (I agree it's
straight forward from the front panel) but I need to be able to shuffle the
memory locations of performances to get them in the right order for live
work and that is obviously much quicker in SD. Shame.
I'll persevere with scanning though. Thanks for the response.

Hi,
Is it possible to control the knobs and sliders
in Sounddiver with a hardware midicontroller?
If it is possible how do you assign the knobs to
the hardware midi controller.
Regards,
Martijn
does anyone here know how difficult it would be to take the A-70 adaptation
and tweak it a bit to handle the A-90? Can I do that myself with the ADA
file
for the A-70, or do I need more stuff to do it? I'm new to sounddiver.
thanks

This is covered in-depth in the manual.

Yes, this is possible. You do the assigns in the "Controller
Assings"
window. This is possible since SoundDiver version 3.

...can anyone suggest where I can get the sounddiver software for
this item? It's normally bundled with the unit but they didn't have
it.
Thanks!
are networked (multiple) AMT8s supported by OMS, or just the one?
thanks

I am upgrading my music workstation to XP today and I just realized
SoundDiver 3.0 doesn't officially support XP. I did read of the
workaround but when is official support for XP due?
I am still running SoundDiver 2.x since every time I tried to
upgrade to 3.0 last year I could never get thru to the right person
at Emagic on the phone.
Compare that to Steinberg where I ordered my upgrade to Cubase SX on
Friday on their US Website (I didn't even have to tell them my
serial number) and I received it today.
Why can't Emagic get their act together on online upgrades?
Thanks,
Todd

A Module for Triton LE is already in development.

Yes - when the Mac OS X port of Logic is finished.

Michael, in the meantime, could you please post some of the adaption
and module updates on the individual download page?
For example, you have the DEP-5 update that Thomas Siebert created,
and I'm desperate for the D550 update with the MEXpansion.
How about it.......

Hi I have been using XP Pro since it has come out and Sounddiver 3.04 was
fine. Except for the fact that I am now using a Triton Rack (Sound Diver
Module has many errors in it and is meant to be fix up in the next update)
and a Roland Fantom Keyboard (Sound Diver Module does not exist yet). So I
believe that Sounddiver will work fine under Xp just make sure that your
midi gear has modules that work in it.
I'll second both of those. I'm getting the impression that SoundDiver
users are not important to you, the delay is getting ridiculous. I
thought the company had taken someone on to improve matters or was he
side lined onto the 'Logic' team (which seems to take preference over
SoundDiver).
If the company is not serious about supporting it, say so instead of
string us along.
Sorry if this sounds hard, but I'm getting fed up!

I fully agree... It's ridicolous Emagic having already fixed versions of
editors/adaptations and not upload them for example in the single download
section, only because Logic needs work.
Moreover this is the first time I see someone that sells bugsfixes for it's
own programs...: the next SD will be only a bugfix, isn't it? and we will
have
to pay for it, after more than a year of desperation.

Michael,
You mentioned that Emagic may be able to convert the XV-5080 module to
work with the XV-5050; update please?

Mike

Come on Emagic!
Please at least deliver all already updated modules.
I bought SD 3 in september 2001 and still cannot use it on my Triton
because Sysex support is bad.
I guess I'll ask my money back, as my financial contribution is not
used for developping SoundDiver but other flagship products...
I become to begin quite disappointed.

Come on now, the Triton has only been out 2-3 years now, we wouldn't want to
hurry them! ;-)
