So, sorry, I can help you with it. It's not really editing of performances that is my problem (I agree it's straight forward from the front panel) but I need to be able to shuffle the memory locations of performances to get them in the right order for live work and that is obviously much quicker in SD. Shame. I'll persevere with scanning though. Thanks for the response. Roger

Hi, This is an automatically generated message. It contains the following paragraphs: 1) Rules 2) Features 3) General info (subscriptions etc) 1. RULES -------------- This is an unmoderated list, so we ask you to respect the "netiquette". Please stick to the following rules: * Use useful subject lines. * No excessive quoting. Cut out parts that aren't relevant to your reply. * No platform wars or other flame wars allowed on this list. Offending language or replies that critisize personals are also not allowed on this list. Subscribers who don't act according to the rules of this list will get banned. * Replies to OT messages should be done in private. If possible, try to post OT messages to the logic-ot mailinglist. * Please try to use these abbreviations in the subject line of your mails as much as possible: ADMIN = Administrative (list-related) messages TIP = Tip (post as many of these as possible) WISH = A Wish, Logic related of course EMAG = A post specifically interesting for the Emagic staff HELP = Help me please! OT = Off Topic (hardware & software related stuff, jokes,...) 2. FEATURES -------------------- We offer many services. You'll notice some nice advantages of being subscribed to this list once you've been subscribed for a while! Here's a list with the most common features: * User-provided info: this is one of the most informative mailinglists available. * Emagic-provided info: some Emagic people are subscribed and are actively taking part in the discussions. They do so without any obligation, so every mail they send is based on their goodwill. Keep in mind that this is not an official list! It is made BY users FOR users! * You can manage your account: choose between "individual emails" (lots of traffic: up to 100 mails a day!), "daily digests" (= all emails bundled into one big mail) or "no mail/web based only" (= you're still subscribed, so you can still browse through the archives, but you don't receive any emails anymore -> handy when you're going on holiday and don't want an overloaded mailbox: instead of unsubscribing, just switch to "no mail/ web based only" until you're back). * You can browse and search the archives. * You can see info about other users. * We have an online Calendar: you can find the dates of all interesting fairs etc. * Many other things... 3. Yes, this is possible. You do the assigns in the "Controller Assings" window. This is possible since SoundDiver version 3. Ingo

Subject: Official XP support
Message #11911
I am upgrading my music workstation to XP today and I just realized SoundDiver 3.0 doesn't officially support XP. I did read of the workaround but when is official support for XP due? I am still running SoundDiver 2.x since every time I tried to upgrade to 3.0 last year I could never get thru to the right person at Emagic on the phone. Compare that to Steinberg where I ordered my upgrade to Cubase SX on Friday on their US Website (I didn't even have to tell them my serial number) and I received it today. Why can't Emagic get their act together on online upgrades? Thanks, Todd

Hi I have been using XP Pro since it has come out and Sounddiver 3.04 was fine. Except for the fact that I am now using a Triton Rack (Sound Diver Module has many errors in it and is meant to be fix up in the next update) and a Roland Fantom Keyboard (Sound Diver Module does not exist yet). So I believe that Sounddiver will work fine under Xp just make sure that your midi gear has modules that work in it.

I'll second both of those. I'm getting the impression that SoundDiver users are not important to you, the delay is getting ridiculous. I thought the company had taken someone on to improve matters or was he side lined onto the 'Logic' team (which seems to take preference over SoundDiver). If the company is not serious about supporting it, say so instead of string us along. Come on Emagic! Please at least deliver all already updated modules. I bought SD 3 in september 2001 and still cannot use it on my Triton because Sysex support is bad.
