This is a reply to #17861.
Evening all As far as my list of synths is concerned that I need to address with Soundiver, it is as follows: Roland JV1080 with Dance, Hip Hop, Techno and Orchestral 1 cards - know it's covered Roland U220 (kept for old school value - various cards) - know it's covered Quasmidi Technox - not sure Novation Bass Station - think it's covered Waldorf Pulse - pretty sure it's covered Yamaha CS1X - ? Korg Prophecy - covered I think Novation Super Nova II - probably not Novation Drum Station - possibly Zoom 234 Drum Box (some quite good drum sounds hidden in there, suprisingly)- unlikely Plus three or four old school samplers which don't come into the Soundiver equation. Life with the JV1080 it goes without saying is made easier with Soundiver and coverage of any other synth is basically a bonus. A definitive answer on coverage would be helpful. I lost track of Soundiver development years ago and particularly when the Emagic bubble burst and I ended up struggling with crappy drivers for an EMI 2/6 sound card. Does any one out there have any experience of the 'checksum' issue with these units. Let me know. Cheers Ludite
