The OSX beta is pretty stable, but there's one big issue: devices
supported by an adaptation that use a checksum in their sysex strings
just don't work. This does not apply to devices supported by a
SoundDiver module, these work fine (at least those I have tried).
This bug was never fixed. I'd really love to be proven wrong here.
SoundDiver just skips the checksum in the strings it sends out.
So what you have to find out: are your synths etc supported by a
SoundDiver module or adaptation (probably there's a list out there
somewhere). If they are supported by adaptations, you need to find
out if there are checksums in the Sysex strings. This is probably
documented in the sysex specs of the device.
