great point there! so who wants to sell me their now useless dongle? :) though on my old mac, ive got the pre usb dongle and have to occasionally reauthorize using the original software CD. is it 100% definite that i need the dongle to use SD on a new mac or will the original program CD do?? thanks mini As far as the dongle, I'd suspect that lots of upgraders to Logic 8 don't use Sounddiver. Perhaps you can advertise to buy one cheap? (logic 8 no longer requires the dongle)
