Subject: How do I retain ROM patch names in the Matrix-1000 adaptation?
Message #17627
Hi, I was hoping you guys could point me in the right direction on this one. When I install the Matrix-1000 adaptation into SoundDiver3 (PC version) it has the ROM section populated with the default patch names which are very descriptive and I find them to be quite helpful while browsing sounds. The problem is, every time I wish to edit one of these patches for the first time, SoundDiver requests the patch settings from the Matrix and the patch name is automatically overwritten with something like "BNK3: 57" depending on the bank and patch#. This generic patch name is not only copied to the temporary edit buffer, but it overwrites the default patch name in the ROM section as well. Also, manual attempts to change the name back are unsuccessful due to the fact it's in the ROM section. Is there any way I can configure SoundDiver to retain the default patch names in the ROM section of the Matrix-1000 adaptation? Thanks for your help! :-) - Brian
