Two things to take care of: The DP/4 needs both MIDI connections, Out to In and In to Out, because of the handshake protocol. If you have edited a parameter that keeps the DP/4 busy for a few seconds (like config or algorithm select), watch the display and wait until it has come to rest before editing another parameter.
