This is a reply to #17425.
--- I guess my major isn't whether soundiver will make it to Intel macs, in fact it will via a roundabout way - those booting Win XP on a mac will be able to use SD on the intel macs, in Win XP it works pretty well, I'm still using SD in both 0s9 on G4 and Win XP on athlon. As long as your're communicating with the midi ports via usb this should be fine. The big concern for me is drivers for the Unitor 2 and AMT's, like many before me I run these for connecting the hardware and there won't be longhorn drivers for those puppies, although I think they will work natively on the new mac pro so guess which way I'm leaning when replacement comes up next year. With 1 unitor and 4 AMT8's these will not be cheap to replace and I'm not relishing the thought of replacing it all and learning a new interface. I may just have to keep the G4 around for midi programming duties and running the Korg oasys card. Oh well - good thing its reliable. Soundiver is still the best editor for all the synths of its era. Cheers Clark Kent
