Subject: [SoundDiver] RE:Modifying an Adaptation: Adding a Button That Transmits a Single Sys
Message #17341
Hi Neil: I am just curious about two things: [1] Does the K4 Manual provide any insight into a System Exclusive Messsage that performs the function you are talking about? [2] Does the K4 accept / transmit SysEx message for front panel button pushes? If so, you could monitor the SysEx coming out of the K4 and duplicate the messages in the Adaptation. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'd really like to make this work because my K4 sits on a shelf of my tri-level rack and getting up to go over to change it everytime I want to change the banks just isn't practical.
