This is a reply to #17257.

More to the point, how do I get >it to not crash. I'm using it with Logic Express 7 and a Presonus Firebox >512 with a Korg Trinity Pro. When I open it, it says it can't talk to the >Trinity. I trash the prefs and set up a new device and it reads it fine, >then crashes after I try to do some editing. Any ideas. Check your version - you should get SD 3.1.0 beta 2 (that's the "latest" version). My experience is NOT to run SD and Logic at the same time. Also, there is a known bug where SD causes a half-tone pitch shift in MIDI in Logic. I usually run SD, edit, save etc etc, then log out and back in again. Re loading every time: (I'm guessing here) When you first open SD for a module, it hasn't saved all the data for internal sounds etc. After it has done this, you save the prefs, and SD "remembers" this info each time. Because you keep trashing your prefs, SD may be trying to get back this info. Try loading all the sounds, quit (save prefs) and restart. At least you'll have all your sounds in place. Regards - Colin
