Is there a modifier key involved? This was originally part of version 3 or still exists in the current Pro7 commands? I have some hybrid of key commands from various versions of Logic, Swiftkick and my own input. I notice when loading Logic Pro you get a bunch of options of different possible key commands, which of these is close to previous Logic versions? Thanks! Hayes

My 5c worth on this discussion: I used to have lots of Logic commands assigned to Function keys. When Expose came along, I decided not to fight Apple defaults and simply re-assign the few commands that conflicted (working on the premise that you CAN teach an old dog new tricks! :-) ) I use Expose all the time and find it one of the pleasures of OSX, and the defaults are so easy, it was my choice to keep them. To the original poster: Just in case you didn't know, the system-wide settings for Keyboard Shortcuts can be found in System Preferences, in the <Keyboard & Mouse> panel. You can change "universal" settings here, and even assign keyboard shortcuts on a per-application basis if you want. Regards - Colin

Is there a modifier key involved? No, I'm afraid I have not Logic open at the moment. But you can set it up as you want it in the Key Command window (to find under some Preferences menu). > I notice when loading Logic Pro you get a bunch of options of > different possible key commands, which of these is close to previous > Logic versions? Sorry, I have no idea. But the default key command setting has definitely changed for many commands. Hmm... weil, I actually remember one - the Parameter Window (now called Channel Strip) used to go with the "H" key ("hide"?) but is now with the "P" key. Usually I simply relearn the new settings when Apple move them around, because it goes faster to install Logic and get to work if you learn the default settings. But concerning those Hyperdraw I think they didn't change them but rather took them out of the default setting and I think that's why I have kept binding them to those f-keys. Not because it would be "better" in that way ;-) Greetings from Sweden Per Boysen www.boysen.se (Swedish) www.looproom.com (international) http://tinyurl.com/2kek7h (latest music release)
