Justin, First of all: it´s all in the manual (which you should read!). Second: After your unintended resizing of your region you could have done an "undo". Third: You should adjust your loops in the sample-edit (double-click on region). Fourth: You can change the working resolution in arrange with holding down ALT, Mouse, Shift (IMO as I´m a Mac user).
