I am trying to get logic express 6 to work on a new g5 after not having used it for a while. my install cd is unfortunately scratched and will not complete the install process. so I downloaded vers 6.4 from this link, for os x http://download.info.apple.com/Apple_Support_Area/emagic/Legacy_SW/OS%20X%20 SW/Logic_Pro_6.4.3.dmg (apparently this installs logic pro and express, because both applications are in the emagic folder) but it will not start, saying that I do not have a valid key! I have my dongle plugged into a usb port and I believe logic is seeing my dongle, as it lists the key number in the startup window... but does not accept it. My cd says logic express version 6, so I know I bought that version and have a key for it. I emailed logic support and they say they do not support 6 anymore and that I should buy 7! Any ideas on how I get this to work? Do I need to download a different version of logic express? Is there somethign I need to do to authorize the key? thanks. -zoltan
