I have not been able to do this without hearing what
I would term slight degradation of the audio, not necessarily
artifacts, BUT it may be operator error. I say that because
the program works very well indeed on small to moderate
shifts with monophonic audio, the less complex the better;
and they (Celemony) may be able to achieve what they claim,
even if I haven't yet. I would buy it again anyway.
HTH, YMMV,

About Melodyne and sound degratation; I have been using Melodyne now for a
couple of
years and though it's the best tool out there for correcting pitch errors,
it ALWAYS
degrades the sound in some little way. (Listen in headphones for details)
The best way to
use it, without getting artefacts is to only alter pitch, and stay away from
pitch drift and
pitch modulation. Having said that, Melodyne is still the best out there,
Auto tune is really
horrible. And the time stretch in Melodyne is awesome!
