first of all, many thanks for the pompous incredulous tone... i mean of course, how *highly* unlikely is it for someone (even an expert) to be able to diagnose a system, its many intricacies and foibles, and declare their incredulity that their baby could be so bold; has it occurred to you that this page exists, partly because even the acknowledged authorities on audio-related subjects are big enough to admit that they have no idea why software reacts a certain way on one machine, and then wigs-out on an apparently similar setup halfway across the world. i asked for assistance, not chastising. in answer to your own request, you probably have my workmates name (dottie) on file, as we work off the same machine, and chipped-in on the product, which is v1.01 the system is based round an overclocked celeron 300a (450), 128mb ram, maxtor 17.5gb drive, trident 4mbgraphics, gadgetlabs 8*24 (acknowledged as a wicked piece of hardware, bu badly written drivers) and an sblive. if you can actually help, it would be appreciated, as we have actually PAID for the product.

This is a reply to #2592.

Anyway:- all I am saying is, as I know very well how VST-Adapter works - coded every line myself - it IS very, VERY unlikely indeed that it could wipe the system. I'm right now having the installer (the only bit I did not write) double- and triple- checked against this. I have Dottie's name on file, indeed he contacted me three or four days ago regarding a problem he was having; I replied, he said he would mail me back with more details and has not yet done so. >in answer to your own request, you probably have my workmates name >(dottie) on file, as we work off the same machine, and chipped-in on the >product, which is v1.01 Are you certain? Dottie only bought it a few weeks ago - we've been shipping 1.02 for ages! >the system is based round an overclocked celeron 300a (450), 128mb ram, >maxtor 17.5gb drive, trident 4mbgraphics, gadgetlabs 8*24 (acknowledged as a >wicked piece of hardware, bu badly written drivers) Yep, own one myself! >if you can actually help, it would be appreciated, as we have actually >PAID for the product. Of course I can, that's what I'm here for - please mail me privately with more info, like what you were doing at the time. Regards, Angus.
