I have just installed Logic Pro 7.2.3 in Tiger 4.8 on my G5 PowerPC Dual 1.8 Ghz / Motu 828Mk2. (I´m also running Logic Pro 7 in Panther on the same computer and it still works very good.) I can open Logic Pro 7.2.3 in Tiger 4.8 and it finds all the plug-ins, sampler and AU-synths, and it sounds like normally. But when the first arrange window opens it is partly white and has some text printed in German. Have you tried changing the default setup of the arrange window to see if that changes anything? I imagine it sounds like a bug that deleting some local preferences might fix, but being new to Logic on the mac (I just jumped to 7.2.3 from 5.5.1 on the PC) I could very well be talking out of a dark orifice.
