Subject: Re: Here's Why We Should Split the List
Message #11854
Perhaps instead of splitting across platforms, why not have a list (or 2 lists, one Mac, one PC) for platform compatibility/problems and bugs ONLY, and keep the main list for its original intended purpose (application, useage, learning new techniques, etc)? This also might make it easier for Emagic to selectively scan posts as time allows. BTW, all of the CPU too slow problems are not compatibility. Many are limits of the audio engine and the CPU being, well, too slow. We are in fact trying to use a single processor system (in many cases) to mix albums with - we are the cutting edge of personal computer technology.
