If you can, would you test to see if MIDI clock is received? I can see MIDI
clock getting to the device, but no applications can see it. I have played
with the Filter Real Time checkbox in the Unitor8 Control application, to no
avail.

Well I know for a fact its recieved here. Otherwise none of my synths
would be playing nicely and Id have some really cool polyrhythmic techno
going on and my vocal delay effects for my other band wouldnt be in
tempo either.. So yeah it works..
What do you mean by no applications can see it?

My Korg Prophecy sends MIDI Clock at the arpeggiator rate. It gets to my
Unitor/AMT 8, but neither Logic or Max/MSP can get it. If I use a different
MIDI interface, things are fine.

Ahh ok so youre not using Logic as the clock source then..
Inside each songs preferences (not from the Apple menu->Preferences but
from File->Song Prefs), open up the Synchronization tab and make sure
that Logic is set to send clock to the AMT8.
I dont think the AMT8 on its own will send it, especially if Logic is
involved on one end.. Logic needs to take the incoming stuff and send it
back out..
So you have two steps to check, one Logic needs to be set to sync to an
external clock source, and two, you need to make sure Logic's sync prefs
are set to send it to the AMT8..
On the sync settings page, just select any port on the AMT8 and it will
go to them all.. Dont select the ALL option or your clock wont go
anywhere. I never could figure that one out, to use my AMT8 along with
the built in midi of my MOTU 828MKII, or any other interface I have
actually, I have to tell it to send clock to the AMT8 AND use the second
drop down menu to send it again to the MOTU specifically. Its never
worked if you just select ALL. Makes it a pain for me when I have my
full AMT8, drum machine on the MOTU, and Im trying to also sync
something with my MIDISport Uno.. Can only use two at once.
