And 7200RPM is available in retail also. It's stocked at Saved By Technology for example (probably no 15" left with 7200RPM so they can't get them anymore, but 17" are still going strong). I wouldn't want a laptop with anything slower, even if I wasn't doing audio. I'd WAY rather have the smaller capacity faster drive than the other way around (especially now that the smallest drives are still humongous). The smallest drives are nowhere near humungous enough, though. Just to have all the BFD explansions, for example, you could probably fill a 200GB drive. Outboard firewire drives are going to be the way to go for the next while. Cheers Dave
