Subject: [LUG] Nodes - Please help me with node machine going offline
Message #220700
I've posted a question about this in the past and received no responses. I really do need the help of someone who is successfully running Logic with node machines. I receive messages telling me that my node machine has gone offline, and that I need to restart Logic to reinstate the connection. Could someone please let me know what type of network settings you have made on your machines to prevent this from happening? It's practically rendering the situation useless here. I'm running the latest versions of Logic on the master machine (MacBook) and Logic Node app on the node machine (iMac G5). I've cabled ethernet directly between the two machines. I've turned off all sleep modes on the node and master machines. No firewalls are enabled. Latest versions of OS X. Many thanks to anyone with suggestions. David
