hello there
is there a way of routing the output of an instrument-track to the input of
an audio-track in logic? i would like to record whatever i do with a
software instrument, not the midi notes but audio. i know it would be
possible to route it out of my audio-interface and bring it back and record
it then in logic but if i could do it internally, it would be less of a
hassle ..........
many thanks

I think you just need to record it as MIDI and bounce the track to
disc, then import to sound file. that's what i do anyhow.
It is called bouncing...one of the simplest functions available in
Logic. Simply check your manual or the Help section within Logic.
