Being left-right dyslexic (even in the age of stereo), I find this
really hard to work out. If I beat map an existing song, should all
the regions be SMPTE locked, or not? Clearly I want them to relate to
the new tempo. Had to do this this week where a piano was slightly
out of tempo, and there were both small files (cymbals) and long ones
(euphonium).
I can see what happens if all the files are small and, say, begin on
a bar line and don't last up to the next tempo change (as re-
beatmapped) - but what happens to the longer ones?
Kind regards,
Mike.
