Upgrading from TDM to NATIVE. Helpful Opinions Hello: I was hoping to get some opinions on professional users who have experience with this situation. Currently I have a PT Mix Cubed running on a G4 dual 1.25 System. I have Apogee converters and alot of outboard gear. I basically program everything in LOGIC and mixdown in Protools. Currently I am still using OS 9 because it is rock solid in stability and can have large sessions without any issues (48 tracks etc.) I have looking at two options, the first is upgrading to a HD 2 Accel system with a new MAC PRO. This will be alot more expensive but will allow me to mix in PT and still use logic for programming. How is the TDM stability with the newest revisions of Logic and PT? Any thoughts? Second option would be to buy a new MAC PRO and the APOGEE SYMPHONY card for I/O? Anyone use this? I am just owrried about the sound quality and the plugins I like which are in PT. Does anyone do large mixes completely in LOGIC? I was never a big supporter of mixing in LOGIC because PT had a much cleaner sound to my ears, and I mix alot. Thanks!!! I appreciate any help.

This is without using any "freeze" tracks. Some tracks are longish, uneditted, but a fair few have edits. It was sticking at the last chorus where a lot of tracks were new ones, or had edits.
