I dropped 2 10,000 rpm raptors in a sans-digital eSATA enclosure and my problems went away.>> Yes this is what I did as well and it has paid off enormously. RAID is the ONLY way to go. Always went that way and always will. Performance gains are enormous. I would recommend a RAID mirror however. -JAson
