Subject: I bought a DIGI 002 Factory (faders, interface, etc.)
Message #220494
I found a great deal on this and bought it, and though I've heard rumors of people with pops and clicks, I haven't had any. BUT - I'm not sure if anyone is succesfully integrating the 002 with Logic. I have been looking for places to research how to assign faders, etc. But with no luck. I'm a novice of control surfaces, but I thought it would - with time, increase my workflow. If you have any places to point me for information, or any advice like - sell that and buy "____" it can be integrated better with Logic. THANKS! Also: Is there an interface that everyone uses that is tried and true and I could find easy information on? THANKS AGAIN.

The Digi 002 control surface section works with ProTools only. The audio interface part of it is compatible using Digi's CoreAudio driver. However, I have never encountered a worse CoreAudio driver. And the sound quality of the unit stinks compared to anything by MOTU, RME, Presonus, and some others. f-erenc szabo, smarty pants Z+E+R+O+B+E+A+T "NOW POWERED BY THE MIRACLE OF THE TRANSISTOR!" <http://home.goodmedia.com/~zerobeat>
