Hello, I´ve overtaken some studio equipment. There´s a G4 DP 2 GHz/Mac OSX 10.3.9 with an UAD 1 Card in it. When I open a UAD Plug In in Logic Pro 7.1 there are no Parameters, only Presets. I´ve seen a Screenshot (somewhere here ?) that looked the same. I can like the inserted Effect Presets as they appear or shut it down and rather use another. My question: Is it really supposed to be that way or do I need to Upgrade the UAD or ??? I remember the were some issues with UAD when converting to Core Audio/AU. Ist it that I´m suffering from ? Do you have the latest UAD Software? 4.4 I think. You should - but first check for Panther compatibility. We've been in Tiger for a while now... Also I have a vague memory that plugin display uses Quicktime so maybe it's a system problem. Maybe run Apple Software Update as well... No, it's not supposed to work that way. You should see a UAD icon in the dock, which opens the UAD driver. This should tell you which UAD software is on your G4. Make sure you download the latest from www.uaudio.com. In Tiger UAD plugins should work perfectly normal, maybe you have a real old version there.
