Subject: Why can't I record more than five minutes
Message #11815
Hi all, Slowly am I progressing in the field of audio recording. I now have a problem that I find bizarre. . One evening I recorded another song of about seven minutes and this worked perfectly, I changed the settings of the max time record to 70 minutes and recorded the thing. The next day I wanted to record a song of five minutes and 20 seconds and set the settings of Logic (LAWP 4.1) at 10 minutes but still Logic does not want to record more than five minutes. I trashed the pref file and installed a new one but still I cannot record more than five minutes. The hard disk has still enough free space so can't be the reason either. Why did it work one day perfectly and since then strangely? Is this a bug? Can anyone enlighten me? thanks Rudie "We are born naked, wet and hungry, then it gets worse"
