Hi All,
I'm redesigning my studio desk and would like to incorporate the
space for a small controller. The Mackie is more that I need. I would
like a bank of long throw touch sensitive faders for automation that
integrates easily and intuitively with L7 when I change tracks etc. I
also use ProTools LE and it would be fun if it also worked for PT
though that's a secondary consideration.
Any suggestions would really be appreciated!!

Tricky. I assume you want motorfaders? Touch-sensitive rules out the
Behringer BCF (and others), and small rules out just about everything
else.
Mackie no longer make them, but maybe look for a used Baby HUI, which
would work with both LP7 and PTLE.

How about the Tascam FW-1082? Depends on what you mean by small....
