Subject: Cannot get Vst Plugins to show in PIE: Newbie with old Logic Vers3.6
Message #219568
Hello Logic Groovers, Firstly - I am a Dinosaur running Win98, Maxi studio Isis soundcard, and Logic Audio Pro ISIS vers3.6. Recently wanted to whack a vst compressor into the inserts of the track mixer. downloaded and installed into logic folder - nothing! PIE program not displaying it. Read a few forum threads and made up a Vstplugins folder and placed it in there - still no luck. Have been scouring the forum for answers for a coupla hours now and just thought maybe I'll just ask - see if someone can help me out - would be very much apprecaited. Cordy

Couple of things.. the folder needs to be named: VstPlugIns Upper/lower case as above. There's a secondary program in the Logic folder that initializes both VST/DX plugins, that has to be run first. This is all from memory, so.... :-) howard
