hi, i run logic pro 7 on a g5 imac, does anyone know if i can run a second
LCD monitor from the socket on back, and be able to view eg the environment
screen?

You can run a separate monitor but it only provides video
mirroring - shows the same picture on the external monitor.

There's an Open Firmware patch which lets you use the external monitor
for an extended desktop rather than mirroring:

a friend has this setup and says it works very well.
