Is there a pedal that will control Guitar Amp Pro? Similar to the other
packages that provide custom pedal solutions?

Any MIDI guitar pedal should do it. Does Guitar Amp Pro allow you to
assign MIDI controllers to it's parameters like other Logic
Instruments? (don't play guitar myself....)
Rocktron makes some generic 'stomp box' type controllers...

The Behringer FCB1010 is an option and rather cheap. 10 banks, 10
switches and two pedals. Just be aware that it sends normally program
changes. If that is a problem for certain applications you might need
to run MidiPipe to convert the events.
I have not tried the FCB1010 with Logics Controller Assignments and
GuitarAmp Pro yet but I can do it if you need that info.

Does Guitar Amp Pro have parameters that would be useful to
manipulate via MIDI controller? I've only looked at it a few times
but from what I know about what guitarists do (admittedly not much)
the amps are fairly static when you turn them on... isn't the other
pedals and effects, delay, chorus, flange, distortion, usually the
types of effects a guitarist manipulates live?

Oh, there are the usual candidates:
Gain and master volume or output, whatever works best.
Tremolo on/off, level, speed and depth.
Reverb on/off and level.

The volume and other controls may be pretty static once you have set
them but it is nice to be able to set it in an easy quick hands on
manner.
