Subject: Acidized Loops in Logic 6?
Message #219488
Hi I am using logic Pro 6.4, and am wondering which is the best way to make use of Acidized loops or Apple Loops. I have seen that Logic 7 is able to read the loop slicing directly in the arrange window and adjust according to tempo- unfortunately I can't afford to upgrade. So is there any way to achieve the same fluid way of working with loops in version 6. I'm assuming I'd have to use a thitd party plugin or something to load the acidised samples into. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks Franco

Providing that you have decided on a tempo in Logic, you could set the loops up in GarageBand, at the same tempo. Arrange them on separate tracks. Now lock the tracks to render them as audio files. You have to press 'play' to activate this. Locate your project folder (.band file) and control-click on it. Choose Show Package Contents. You'll find your audio files in the Freeze folder. Import them into Logic and loop them as you would other normal audio files. Keith Gemmell http://www.saxmusicplus.com - - - - - - - - - - - - Keith Gemmell
