Subject: Sequencer patch change from Logic
Message #219452
This is probably a stupid question, but I'm having a problem using Logic Express. I'm using it to play live, with the metronome click sent through headphones to the drummer, and a number of midi out tracks sent to a synth (Novation K-Station). It works fine on songs where there is only one Midi track, but when theres multiple tracks (not playing at the same time) I have to click the track on Logic to get it to change the patch on the synth. I've set the Midi track on Logic to change the patch on the synth, but i also have to click the mouse on Logic itself to change. Ideally I'd like it to change automatically when it sees data on the different tracks. Can I do this? Can anyone help? Thanks thanks. Heres what it looks like: http://img179.imageshack.us/my.php?image=picture1us7.png The pink line is just a dummy audio track so i know where bits are in the song, and the other two tracks are midi tracks just sent midi out to the synth.
