In my opinion, the guitar sounds that are part of the package are not
realistic guitar sounds. THey are simulated to the point of non materisitlc
sounds. What I did was went to went to Ebay and ordered wav files of live
horns, guitars, basses and a lot of different instruments that were recorded
at 44.1khz. They are real live instruments in loops and single notes. Let me
know if you need additional help. Thanks

The EXS24 sampleplayer in Logic comes with some samples of a
completely clean (directly plugged in) guitar. This, combined with
Logic's guitar amp simulation plugin Guitar Amp Pro gives quite
realistic results, at least for solos and powerchords. Funky grooves
might be a bit more difficult. :o)
