i dont know if this will help but this is a known problem at least w/pcav
(although i dont know if related). have you tried to recreate the overview
file or remove and re-add audio file then silence again. try that and i
would appreciate knowing if successful. by the way fade will do the same
sometimes. best of luck.

Happend to me a few times when trying to erase the digital noise I sometimes
get in an
audiotrack. Not only 4.1 but also 4.0x.
