I can record an audio file only if it is set to Channel: Track 1 but my input is a stereo on 3-4 so what I get on track 1 setting is a black audio when I set Channel: Track 3-4 (stereo) I get zilch here is the rest of the post Op 6-feb-2006, om 0:58 heeft Joseph Bartone het volgende geschreven: > > I am in record ready mode > I received the dialog box asking where to send the audio files > They are sent to a secondary internal drive > They are named testsaudio > > > I cannot record audio > Logic does not even create an icon to suggest it has done anything > like > blank recording (as in protools) What do you do to record? Click the record button in the transport? Or use a key-command? It sounds like your setup is OK. If you are recording and not getting input Logic would create an empty region. So my guess is that either you give Logic the wrong command, or you don't have the track selected (record enabling is not enough, the audio track has to be highlighted).

That might do the job.
