Subject: [LUG] Using a Breath Controller to Control Volume
Message #209194
I just got a Breath midi controller and I would like to use it to control midi volume, or even expression in the EXS24 in Logic. When I play and record with the breath controller it records Controller #2 (Breath) which I guess would be fine if I was using a sample library that responds to Breath control, but it would be even nicer to be able to control Expression or Volume on my sample libraries that don't respond to Breath. Is there a way to convert the incoming midi controller #2 (Breath) to controller #7 (Volume) or controller #11 (expression). Thanks for any help, Jason www.jason-greenberg.com
