Hi David, > Is it possible in Logic (maybe with some Environment trickery...?) to > set up a sequence of pitches, then trigger these one at a time, in > order, with a series of MIDI note-on events from a single keyboard > note, A single keyboard note only generates one note on event. if you want it to generate more than one note event serially, you could cable it into either a delay object or an arpegiator object. If you want it to generate more than one note on event in parallel ( ie: stacked together) you could try a chord memorizer or a transformer set to transpose and in the "duplicate events" mode. > so that the timing and velocity of the trigger notes controls > the timing and velocity of the sequence playback? As someone else has suggested, touch tracks will do this. > If not, any > suggestions about how to do this? Your post is a bit unclear as to what you want to accomplish. You talk of "a single keyboard note" at the top; and then you refer to "trigger notes" - which is plural. It's not clear if you want to work with a single trigger note generating multiple note on events that trigger specific events or multiple trigger notes triggering specific events. In either case; yes it is possible. -------- Eli Krantzberg http://www.nightshiftorchestra.com Almat Productions
