When I look for the SingleFiles folder in the following location it is not there. /Library/Application Support/GarageBand/Apple Loops i created a new folder and named it SingleFiles. The folder does appear in the following two locations: /Library/Audio/Apple Loops/User Loops/SingleFiles ~/Library/Audio/Apple Loops/User Loops/SingleFiles i am not sure if i changed or altered the folder structure by following the following directions: GarageBand Installation instructions (for those that need them) Stash all the files somewhere on your system where you can keep them for good. I put them in /Library/Application Support/GarageBand/Apple Loops/SingleFiles. Drag the loops from this location into the Loop Browser in GarageBand. i installed the apple loop set by dragging the folder containing the appple loops set onto the "Single" category in the Loop Browser. Somehow the "Single" category does not appear anymore in the Loop Browser, by filtering my apple loops according to category..
