Subject: [LUG] them damn duplicating audio tracks
Message #205807
Hey guys, Okay.. every suggestion you guys have offered me has been dead on. I am still having problems with creating more audio tracks however. I have 50 selected in audio drivers section. I have created new audio objects in the environment so that there are additional tracks that could be selected from the arrange window. Even when I go over to the parameter box in the arrange page.. and select to view all the tracks, it shows me that I have access to 40 tracks so that is all set. But I cant seem to get past creating 10 tracks before they start duplicating again. We have tried everything. If I go to the parameter box and select a new track for it to be.. it just changes track number three for some reason. the way I am trying to create new tracks is functions create track with next instrument or simply just create. is there some other way to do this? I am about to go buy a fifth of vodka, turn on some crazy train and drive my car off a bridge. But maybe if someone can help.... yeah.. that might be a better option.. Love ( and I have graduated to LOVE because you guys are awesome and I am just a sweet gal) LOL Plus.. I am from the South.. WE LOVE everyone! elisa _________________________________________________________________ * Logic Users Group (LUG) - http://logic-users.org - new forums! * Search the LUG: http://logic-users.org/forums/LUG/search * Logic FAQ: http://logicfaq.omega-art.com/ * List Policy: http://logic-users.org/forums/LUG/policy _________________________________________________________________

I had a problem (couldn't create more audio tracks) which could be related to yours...it turns out that the template that the song was based on was my first auto-load song template, which in the "setup assistant" I had limited the number of audio tracks to 24. I went back through the setup assistant routine and changed it to 48 tracks, and now the song can be added to.

You won't need that often, but just for information: you don't need the setup assistant to change the number of audio tracks. Logic Pro => Preferences => Audio => Driver "Max. Number of Audio Tracks" You have to restart Logic after you changed the track number. ___ Peter Ostry
