Subject: [LUG] Logic 7.1 using proteus 2000 & Yamaha Motif
Message #204329
Hello Im using logic (powerbook) with an MAudio firewire interface, a Proteus 2000/ a yamaha motif, Im also using a midi sport 2X2 I have it all hooked up so I can access all the sounds from the arrange page and record the midi tracks with no problem, the audio outputs of the external devices is connected to a yamaha small mixer whick is connected to my monitors. Once I have recorded my song how can I bounce the file in logic- I guesse I have to convert the midi tracks to audio tracks to then add effects ? Im a bit lost at this stage- Any advice would be appriciated Dominic

Í think the easiest would be to plug your audio outs from your keyboards into the MAudio interface of your laptop, and then you can use then like internal sound in logic, so you can bounce or apply any effects. Just move the midi parts to a new audio instrument in witch you select ecternal, and there you just select witch audio inputs you plugged you r keyboards in.
