Message #202594
I had to re-install the system today and have got almost everthing back up better than before. An exception is that when I launch Logic 7.1.1, I get the following alert: Error code -1 was returned by the Core Audio driver What does this mean, please? peter G5 1.6 OS 10.3.9 Fireface 800

Your re install may have trashed some auths. HTH Gareth

Your re install may have trashed some auths. Similarly, I just saw the same error when trying to use an AU-VST wrapped plug-in, but I had moved the original VST version. I didn't know that the wrapped version still points to the original. Re-wrapped, left alone, and all is well. Either way, it sounds like something is misplaced or missing. I found a little extra info by running Console (in Applications/Utilities). Every time the -1 error would pop up in Logic, a few extra lines of detail were written to the console.log file. G
