Is Logic Express 7 compatible to Logic 4 songs? I've tried it on three
different systems and Logic 7 Express crashed after a few mouse clicks.
If it is not, will it be in future?

Unfortunately Logic 7 is deficient in the "backward compatibility"
department. If you have it, try opening them in Logic 6.3.x and saving
before opening them in 7.x
How about Logic 5 songs?
I am about to install Logic 7 in OS10.3.8 where Logic 5 also lives. Does 7
overwrite 5 or
can it still work?

I'm working on a CD with a client who is running Logic 4 on an old G4
466. I have to save every Logic 7 song in Logic 6.4.3, and then resave
it as Logic 4.X in the export menu in 6.4.x.

thanks for the hint. The problem is that a friend of mine owns Logic 4
and 7 Express. He is a professional composer and has to print a opera
score. He likes to work with his new equipment (G5 & Logic Xpress).
I'm afraid I've give him a bad adwise according Logic Express 7.
