Hello fellow NYC-area LUGers and Logic/TDM-ers: I have been given an offer of the use of the theater space in Apple's Soho store for use as a location for a Logic Users' Group. The idea of such a group is that it would meet approximately once every two months. There would be some general Q&A and announcement time, and then a guest speaker. Such a speaker could be a plug-in or other software manufacturer/writer, or a local music producer/Logic user. There might be a raffle each time to raise a small amount of money for group activities of a NYC group web site, but I'd prefer to keep things simple at first. I am trying to gauge interest in such an endeavor by posting to the LUG and to the Logic TDM-list. If there seems to be a lot of interest, I would put the effort into making this happen, hopefully with some help. It would begin late spring or summer.
