Well, unfortunately, can't seem to get this to work.
What units should I be typing in for length of song?
I tried the number that indicates the position of my last,
end position marker, but it won't "take" for the first
marker, if that makes any sense. I tried deleting my first
marker then, still no go, but this begs the question:
does my first marker then become my second marker?
On second thought, no need to trouble you with all of this;
thanks for trying to enlighten me, but I'll just have to
figure out something simple on my own that suits my
working methods, or go back to just using only two
markers, which worked perfectly, and was very fast,
easy, and intuitive. So un-Logic.
Seriously, many thanks anyway, I truly appreciate
your kind effort,
Peace,

I'm still a little confused about whyyou need a marker to mark the end
of the song. As John said you can set a marker at bar 1 to stretch right
to the end, so the RH limit of this marker is the end of your song. I
would make sure it has a bar or two to cover reverbtails.
My way of setting a cycle if I need one for bouncing would be to drag
this marker into the top half of the bar ruler, eg grab it just after
bar 1. This actions the cycle. Excuse me if I'm talking about something
different.
(NB if it's a short song and I have no marker covering the whole song I
just sweep the pointer from bar one to the end of the song)
