Every time I do a bounce the destination for the file defaults to "Song
Templates", is there
a way to set a different default?
Cheers,
A.

When you save your song save it as a project, all bounces for that
project will then go to the project's bounce folder.

Thanks Dennis, but is that really the only way? L7 has introduced yet
another layer of
navigation - more paths, more buttons, more check boxes, etc - none of which
really
helps workflow. Defaulting bounce files to the song template folder seems
about the least
useful place to put them. No real biggie, of course, but cumulatively......

Using the Save As Project feature takes care of a bunch of stuff, not
just setting the default bounce location. Read up on it in the manual
and you'll likely start using this great new feeature and never look
back...

For years I have been closing any active window in Logic by the key
command "Close Window" but since I installed Logic 7 this doesn't
work
as usual. Opened plug-in windows do not close by the command. What
happens when a plug-in window is selected and the "Close Window"
command is given is that it closes the normal Logic window in use
BEFORE the plug-in window came to top. Strange. And very bad for a fast
work flow!
Have someone found a cure for this?

Are you opening the plugin window by CMD-OPT-double-clicking the insert
in the channel strip? IIRC that is the only way to open the plugin
windows as regular windows (and therefore subject to the CMD-W close
window command) as opposed to the normal float window (none of which
respond to CMD-W).
