Subject: Re: [LUG] Workflow for CD?
Message #180941
Thanks for this thread. I do a fair amount of CD mastering, mostly using Wavelab on the PC, but recently started to use Logic 6.4 because I like the automation and prefer using my powerbook to my old PC. I tried the "Convert Regions to Audio Files" scheme, but it turns out that doesn't route the audio through the signal processing inserted into my main stereo bus (Output 1-2). While not surprising in retrospect, this is a limitation for me, because my L2 peak limiting and dither are happening on the main output's inserts. Instead, I used "bounce to file," then the locator/object setting and splitting step as described, which worked fine. Thanks for the tip! Rudy
