Subject: [OT] Creating Sample Libraries with Logic 7
Message #180779
Hi! I am a neebie 7 user and I am getting interested in creating sample libraries for resale. For example, should I be worried about creating SoundFont or DLS formats, or is WAV sufficient? How does one go about creating VST or VSTi formats or do I even care? I would like to create samples that can be used in a variety of products, but I don't want to jump through hoops to support something obscure. I am a professional programmer by trade and I am not too worried about learning -- I just don't know where to go or what products there are out there to create this stuff. Is Logic all I need or should I consider some other tools like PolyPhontics, etc.?? Any advice would be great. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me! Michael
